Art has been a cornerstone of my life, inspired by my mom, an art teacher who instilled in me a deep appreciation for creativity. Her motto, “believe,” guides me both professionally and personally. As a passionate and driven leader, I am confident in achieving my goals.
After discovering graphic design in high school, I knew I had found my path. Currently in my second year at Iowa State University, I am pursuing a BFA in Graphic Design with minors in Advertising and Entrepreneurship. With three years of freelance experience in brand design and illustration, I have developed a strong understanding of client collaboration and creative problem-solving.
At Iowa State, I have deepened my knowledge of the interplay between branding, visual design, and audience engagement. My true passion lies in brand and logo design—an area I approach with an almost obsessive dedication. To me, building a brand is like solving a puzzle, where connecting visual elements and symbolism forms the perfect identity. My process has evolved to be both comprehensive and efficient, blending my passion for design with the purpose of creating impactful work.
I still love art and drawing and have had the opportunity to mentor one of the drawing studios in the College of Design. That experience has helped me to grow as a leader and has taught me how to better analyze and critique design. I have also had the honor of becoming Vice President of the Iowa State Graphic Design Student Association (GDSA) where I am able to lead the next generation in networking and becoming stronger more involved designers.
During the academic year I am the graphic design intern for the Iowa State Memorial Union. Every day I get to work I create something new! I am also the Vice President of GDSA (Graphic Design Student Association) at Iowa State.
Traveling, golfing, reading, fashion, and trying new specialty coffees are my favorite hobbies outside of being an artist and designer. Oh, and can you guess my favorite color?
I will graduate from Iowa State University with a BFA in Graphic Design and minors in Advertising and Entrepreneurship in May 2027. I can't wait to grow as a designer and hope to one day help change the world into a more positive place through my designs.
